YEAR OF THE RABBIT; 2011

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR, FOLKS!

May this Chinese New Year be filled with a food induced coma, archaic relatives playing Extreme Mah Jong, or trying to break the sound barrier with their ear-splitting karaoke skills. Whatever your taste, let’s bring in the Year Of The Rabbit with as much noise as we can. This may involve fire-crackers, or the classic, family argument.

YEARS: 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999

People born in the Year of the Rabbit are articulate, talented, and ambitious. They are virtuous, reserved, and have excellent taste. Rabbit people are admired, trusted, and are often financially lucky. They are fond of gossip but are tactful and generally kind. Rabbit people seldom lose their temper. They are clever at business and being conscientious, never back out of a contract. They would make good gamblers for they have the uncanny gift of choosing the right thing. However, they seldom gamble, as they are conservative and wise.

Yeah, I was born in the Year Of The Rabbit.
Apparently, I’m “generally kind”.

Well.

  1. Fionapigpig says:

When you say “extreme mah Jong” it makes it sound like they are being strung off a cliff white trying to balance 6 knives on their noses in order to play.

  2. CHYEAH. I have to agree with that “uncanny ability to choose the right thing”. It really is. And especially that bit about being too stingy to gamble hurrhurr.

    WOOTWOOT!

    Food-induced comas have begun…

    1. Haha, I was reading it, and was thinking to myself – DAYUM, LUCKED OUT ON THE CHINESE HOROSCOPE THING! ;D
Time to food-coma up! Some one knocked on the door after we had dinner and I didn’t say anything,m my eyes were all glazed over! 😄
