I’ve taken to walking about Brisbane aimlessly – with absolutely no agenda, other than to enjoy my beautiful city – and I’ve been finding myself falling in love with the seedy underbelly, the rusted corners and peeling paint of my little city. We may not be the most exciting, most fashionable, nor the most jaw-droppingly-beautiful city in Australia, but I know that I would never be able to move away from here. Despite my love of travel, I know I would never be able to live anywhere else. To raise a family anywhere else. I know that Brisbane is home.

I probably drink as much coffee as you think I do. /Wink
And I also wander about quite a lot, wishing I were more artistic so I could sketch all the loveliness that I see.

I still live in the same area since I was very young, but my perspective, on other hand, is a little different from your’s. It’s a combination of the suburbs and the city. It’s normal. Not much to see. But the worse of all, the restaurants and stores are generally made up of chains and corporate crap. I definitely don’t want to live here for the rest of my life! Lol

I went to Brissy a looong time ago (even before we immigrated to Aus)
Need to revisit soon! (I did go to Cairns last year though)
