Lately, I’ve once again being stuck into my lovely sitcoms – and it’s revived my love for New Girl, and the adorable Miss Jessica Day (who is played by the doe-eyed Zooey Deschanel)- and it sure helps that the season one DVD is out soon (10 October, 2012) – and here’s me waiting with bated breath. But, until that date, I’m just going to have to live voraciously through Miss Day’s delicious wardrobe – covering (or, recovering) some of my favourite fashion staples that make me perpetually think of our ditzy-cool teacher heroine.

STRIPES ON ALL OF THE THINGS; TEES AND TOPS.

Absolutely adorkable in stripes, Miss Day doesn’t hold back on their usage on every available surface (right next to dots in that arena)! The sweater that she’s wearing in the secnd screen shot is actually the Karen Millen Graphic Block Stripe Jumper in the episode 1.12 ‘The Landlord’ – such a cute fashion spot – but it seems to be discontinued! The horror!

I’ve seen Jess in the cutest spotted skirt, but let’s take those spots and plop them onto a cute blouse, hey? Everybody loves a spotty blouse – and especially one layered under a cute coloured cropped cardigan in a tutti fruity colour. BEST COMBO.

A girl can never have too many shoes – in this case, too many neon coloured flats – paired with a sweet pair of tights, your feet will feel like they’re walking on rays of sunlight.
